BOOM Esports’ charismatic mid laner, Yopaj, gave his two cents on BOOM’s series against beastcoast.

How is the team doing: feeling at full power yet or still getting used to the conditions considering you flew over only yesterday?

Ninja

Yes, at first we don’t really have much time to rest and we really need the time to rest well.

Interviewer

After a difficult Dragon Knight in game one against a Venomancer, did you ask for a more aggressive hero like Void Spirit in game two?

Yopaj

We weren’t actually playing our own playstyle in game one, and DK mid is playable in an aggressive way. But we got scolded by our coach, Mushi, for our playstyle (sic).

A fantastic game on Void Spirit in game two. Were you confident that you’d be able to pop-off after getting your hands on Void Spirit?

Ninja

Our draft was really good, especially with a Grimstroke, as it is really comfortable to play with him that too with a Aghanim Shard on the hero. So yeah, it was a Void Spirit game for me.

You’ll be going up against Evil Geniuses next. Are you confident going up against EG?

Talking about the EG playstyle, I’ll not say anything specific but we are actually confident to play against them.
