xQc shows off the accuracy of the NBA 2K23 face scan technology

XQC NBA FACE SCAN

The NBA 2K franchise is only a tier below EA when it comes to predictable, non-changes in their games, and NBA 2K23 is no different.

Sports game fans are the most abused gamers in the industry. They get the same product fed to them each year, with the same boring features and updated rosters.

To their credit, 2K is a little bit better than EA Sports in this category, but that’s an incredibly low bar to clear.

xQc recently created a 2K character, using their cutting-edge face scan technology.

The franchise has had this technology for years, and it doesn’t seem like they’ve ever updated. Each year xQc plays, his face scan makes him a black man.

Will this year be different? Let’s take a look and find out.

Nope, same NBA 2K23 that you’d expect.

At least, 2K doesn’t have a monopoly on NBA games. Other publishers can challenge them, which is more than you can say for NHL and NFL games.

Wonder if it will be any different next year. Probably not.
