Jacky “Stewie2K” Yip’s comeback caught the eye of Twitch’s golden boy Félix “xQc” Lengyel, who has lent his best CS2 skins to Stewie2k for the IEM Dallas 2024 grand finals.
After stepping away from competitive Coutner-Strike 2 in 2022, Stewie2k returned to gaming, but as a Valorant streamer. This was a huge shock for the CS2 fanbase, who had looked at him as North America’s last hope. Expectedly, his return to tier one CS2 under the G2 Esports umbrella has turned heads thanks to a solid performance in games leading up to the IEM Dallas grand finals. On June 2, G2 Esports made it to the finals with Nikola “NiKo” Kovač at the helm, but Stewie2k made plenty of headlights for his impressive plays. While he wasn’t close to the top of the scoreboard in the semis, he did impress Twitch streamer xQc, who is famous for his stacked CS2 skins collection.
Impressed by the comeback, xQc decided to send a few pricy skins to Stewie2K for good luck in the grand final.
xQc may not be as good as Stewie2k at FPS games, but he is well-known in the CS2 community for his expensive skins. With a history in gambling and a passion for pricey CS2 cosmetics, xQc’s Steam inventory is worth over $150,000. Now, he has shared some of his fortune with Stewie2K as a good luck gesture for the IEM Dallas grand finals against Team Vitality.

It’s worth noting that the AK-47 is likely the first-ever Fire Serpent skin in CS2 that xQc unlocked back in November. According to xQc, it’s not a gift, so he’ll likely get these items back once Stewie2K is done with the finals.
While Stewie2K gets to enjoy high-tier skins in CS2 for free, it’s actually a two-way trade. Once xQc reclaims these skins, he can proudly declare that Stewie2K used them in one of the most significant events in CS2 history. This raises the value of the skins even further, creating a win-win for both gamers.
