xQc says Kick viewership is better without Adin Ross, is it true?

xQc Kick viewership

Félix “xQc” Lengyel stated in a stream that Kick viewership is increasing even after Adin Ross and Joshua “YourRage” Maynard left the platform.

Adin Ross is one of the most prominent streamers in the industry and was practically the face of the streaming platform Kick. That’s why fans were shocked to discover that he was leaving the platform. Many fans speculated that Kick would lose viewers after the top streamer’s departure. Furthermore, many other streamers including YourRage left Kick and returned to Twitch. These departures fueled the speculations that Kick viewership would go down because so many popular content creators are switching to other platforms.

In a stream, fellow streaming icon xQc stated that despite Adin Ross not having streamed in months, Kick viewership is better than ever.

xQc says Adin Ross was unnecessary for Kick viewership

While responding to a viewer, xQc stated that people are hating on Kick but their claims are wrong and Kick viewership is increasing despite streamers leaving.

A viewer questioned xQc about Kick viewership dropping after Adin Ross left. However, xQc denied this claim and stated that he believes the people hating on Kick are wrong. The streamer elaborated that Kick numbers are better than ever and the viewers are increasing even after Adin Ross left.

Kick viewership

xQc then implied that he has advance access to metrics that prove him statements. The content creator claimed that Adin Ross hasn’t streamed on Kick in forever, but total viewer numbers are better than ever.

The speculations among fans about Kick viewers dropping started when the drama between Adin Ross and Kick CEO Edward “Eddie” Craven started. The latter unfollowed the streamer and rumors started circulating that Adin was leaving. Adin has since officially confirmed that he has left Kick and will try to return to Twitch.

On the other hand, YourRage has already returned to Twitch and claimed that Kick didn’t pay him for the last two months of his contract. Kick co-founder Bijan Tehrani responded to the allegation and claimed that only one invoice from YourRage was pending. Furthermore, he stated the invoice wasn’t paid because it was incorrect and the streamer hasn’t sent a fixed invoice.

YourRage responded to xQc and stated that xQc has no idea what he’s talking about. Furthermore, the streamer stated he has no beef with Kick and he returned to Twitch because Kick isn’t suited to daily consistent streaming. He stated he still wants to do an exclusive podcast on Kick.
