Twitch’s former golden boy Félix “xQc” Lengyel has weighed in on the sexting allegations against Herschel “Dr DisRespect” Beahm, claiming that crucial information will come out soon.
Dr DisRespect has been linked to controversy after a former Twitch employee, Cody Conners, disclosed that an unnamed streamer was permanently banned for sexting with a minor on a then-existing chat feature called Twitch Whisper. Many speculate that the streamer in question is Dr DisRespect, who was banned from the platform in 2020 without a clear explanation. Cody Conners has not dismissed these speculations.
So far, multiple notable figures and streamers have commented on the situation, but no proof has come to light. Now, xQc has claimed to know a “bunch of information” regarding the drama that he’s not revealing but pointed at a formal document that would clear the air soon.
The statement was made in relation to the Dr DisRespect allegations, leaving fans puzzled about the contents of a supposed document. Dr DisRespect has already refuted the allegations, and reporters claiming to have information lack credible primary sources. If such a tangible document does exist, it could be a significant development.
“Some document, something tangible was communicated today between a bunch of people, and it’ll probably come out soon. And it’ll probably make things clear,” xQc said.
xQc urged his fans to refrain from aggressively requesting proof due to the sensitive nature of the situation involving a minor. He explained that the evidence is likely to remain undisclosed to protect the identity of the victim, who has reportedly already suffered.
“When something’s like criminal, and it involves a minor, you’re not going to see any of it. It’s going to be sealed. It’s to protect the victim that’s already been f–ked over, it’s to protect them from further harm.” he said.
Fans are becoming increasingly impatient and upset with Twitch for concealing the truth for so long, assuming the allegations turn out to be accurate. As a result, fans are chomping at the bit for xQc to reveal what he knows about Dr DisRespect.
