Bruce “BruceDropEmOff” Condones was previously banned from Twitch for making threats of physical violence. However, Felix “xQc” Lengyel believes that the platform is being too lenient on the controversial streamer, who deserves a permanent ban.
xQc and Bruce have been involved in a very public beef online since the latter cut ties with Kick after a strong review of the Stake-owned streaming site. According to the former OTK member, it was the “worst time” he has had in streaming due to a lack of creativity and observing how things operated behind the scenes at Kick. This statement prompted a response from the juicer, who said Bruce was bad mouthing the product without helpful feedback. The back-and-forth, however, took an ugly turn when a former Kick streamer threatened to assault xQc’s fans and got banned on Twitch.
He’s back to the platform after his hateful rant, and xQc thinks it’s “insane.”
On a recent stream, xQc called out Twitch for being overly lenient with Bruce who tried evading a ban on his main channel by being hateful on his alternate account. According to the juicer, Bruce has made a mockery of Twitch’s terms of service by doubling down on his bad behavior and still getting away with it.
“Ban evading after doubling down? like, dude? If anybody else did that, they’d get insta f–king perma. Like, what the f–k? What the f–k is Twitch moderation doing?” xQc said.
Ban evading is a serious offense on Twitch, and to some extent, xQc may be correct. Streaming on any alternate channel when you have been banned on Twitch in any capacity is punishable. Since Bruce’s alternate account titled “offmepordecurb” is still closed, he could risk getting a ban on his main account as well.
Many believe Bruce’s response is warranted considering the two have been going back and forth for a month now. xQc earlier called out the former OTK member for criticizing Sketch’s past, claiming he wouldn’t be doing the majority of his content if he cared about the influence of streamers on children.
