Zhao “XinQ” Zixing sits down for a winner’s interview post their victory against EHOME in the upper bracket at the DPC China Regional Finals.
Read to know more about his thoughts.
Interviewer
How are you feeling after your win against EHOME?
XinQ
Happy.
Interviewer
Thoughts behind the approach to the game two draft with Naga Siren and Mars pick – two heroes not picked often.
XinQ
We thought those two heroes were good counter picks to EHOME’s draft that’s why we picked them.
Interviewer
There was a point in game three where every single part of the map was under PSG.LGD’s control but the team didn’t force the issue. Did you feel the team wasn’t ready to push further?
XinQ
We had a discussion in the team where we decided not to go too aggressive since it’s hard to take out Templar Assassin’s traps, and we just decided to wait until Ame got a Desolator on Wraith King and force them to fight with us around the Roshan pit.
Interviewer
Are we going to see you back on Techies anytime soon?
XinQ
I didn’t practice but if I get the chance to play Techies then I would try it and if it’s good I will bring it to the game.
Interviewer
Is there any hero in particular you wish to play more in these games?
XinQ
I want to play Marci.
Interviewer
What changes are you expecting in the next patch?
XinQ
We are very excited for the new patch and our team has been waiting for it for a very long time.
I definitely want to see some OP heroes get nerfed and want to see underpowered heroes get buffed so I can play more heroes and have a wider hero pool.
Interviewer
Who do you think is the second best team after PSG.LGD in the tournament?
XinQ
We are not the champions yet. We can lose and tend to go out as well so I don’t know.
Interviewer
Is there anything that people don’t know about you?
XinQ
I don’t know what I can share to the viewers but if you really want to find out then you just need to approach me, and you’ll find out something interesting.
