Many of his signature picks such as Rubick and Weaver appear in the top tiers. Surprise inclusions are Lion and Windranger, who are generally less popular in matchmaking. There are many more than just 14 soft supports in Dota 2, which implies that all of the heroes featured in the list are viable in tournament play.

Monkey King is a notable inclusion on the tier list. XinQ popularized a unique Monkey King support style where players use Mischief at level one to snipe enemy couriers. The MK can then hang around behind the enemy towers and snipe couriers, theoretically granting a massive landing advantage.
