World Series of Warzone Global Finals are just around the corner, and while there won’t be live crowd for this year’s WSoW final event, plenty of fans online are wanting to know all about the 2025 edition of the tournament.
The World Series of Warzone (WSoW) Global Finals marks the culmination of months of regional qualifiers across North America, EMEA, LATAM, and APAC. The event brings together the best Warzone trios from across the globe for one of the most anticipated finales in Call of Duty. Unlike in previous years, details about this year’s finals arrived much later than expected, leaving fans speculating about what was to come.
But now, we finally know everything about WSoW 2025, the event that will crown the next Warzone world champions.
The event will be closed to the public and will take place over the course of a single day.

WSoW will take place in Las Vegas, Nevada, on October 2, 2025. Games kick off at 12 PM PST (3 PM EST, 9 PM CEST).
Finalists for the WSoW went through months of competition, starting with in-game open qualifiers in June that filtered out thousands of teams. The top trios then advanced to the regional stages, where only the most consistent performers earned direct qualification. For everyone else, there was one last shot at the last-chance qualifier that decided the final few slots for Las Vegas. Across North America, EMEA, LATAM, and APAC, only the 50 best trios in the world made the cut for the grand final.
This year, WSoW is reverting to the classic “Match Point” system. Each trio earns points across multiple matches: 1 point per elimination and additional points based on final placement, with higher placements granting significantly more. This continues until one or more teams reach the Match Point threshold of 125 points.

From that moment, those teams become Match Point-eligible, meaning the next time they win a match, they are instantly crowned champions, regardless of other teams’ total scores. After the champion is declared, the rest of the standings will be determined through points.
Twisted Minds and Falcons are the clear favorites at the WSoW 2025. Defending champions Falcons have dominated the past three WSoW seasons, and their performance throughout this year’s qualifiers points toward a similar outcome once again.

While the roster has changed since its 2023 championship, team cornerstone Biffle has led Falcons to another title in 2024 alongside a new duo. For 2025, the trio of Biffle, Shifty, and Soka returns, cementing their status as fan and odds favorites. Shifty and Soka have consistently ranked among the top individual performers in the game, with Soka notably finishing as the #1 player through 2024. Their reign continued in the 2025 group stage, where Falcons secured first place with 428.6 points and 260 total kills across 15 matches.
Another team looking nearly as strong as Falcons is Twisted Minds, a trio built around two players who finished in the top three at WSoW in both 2023 and 2024. Aydan continues to show his chemistry with teammate zSmit, a duo that powered their 2024 championship run. This year they’re joined by Almond, who enters the 2025 WSoW Global Finals with the second-highest average ranking on the current Call of Duty: Warzone player leaderboard.
WSoW has a sizable prize pool of $1 million, the largest ever in Warzone championship play. It will be split between only the top 25 players. Here’s how the distribution looks:
| Position | Prize |
|---|---|
| 1st | $300,000 |
| 2nd | $150,000 |
| 3rd | $100,000 |
| 4th | $70,000 |
| 5th | $60,000 |
| 6th | $50,000 |
| 7th | $42,000 |
| 8th | $36,000 |
| 9th | $30,000 |
| 10th | $26,000 |
Twisted Minds is our pick to win the WSoW Global Finals 2025 event, unless Biffle pulls out the same insane tricks out of his hat that has helped Falcons to win previous events.
Falcons’ recent showing might raise some red flags, but given their history at WSoW, the lineup has proven time and again that they know how to bounce back. While Twisted Minds have the best form heading into the finals, the markets still favor Falcons.
