Professional Fortnite player BuckeFPS has been banned on Twitch, and fans wonder why he was booted from the streaming platform and when he’ll be back.
Logan “BuckeFPS” Eschenburg is an American professional Fortnite player and popular streamer. Bucke has played for multiple esports teams such as NRG. Agent, and Exceed. While the Fortnite player has made good money by playing, he is also highly subbed on Twitch. The streamer has more than 964,000 subs on the streaming platform. However, this time, the content creator is in the news for the wrong reasons.
BuckeFPS has been banned on Twitch on October 11, 2024, and we know why and for how long.
Twitch has banned BuckeFPS for violating the streaming platform’s community guidelines and terms of service.
No official channel has released the reason or any details about BuckeFPS’ Twitch ban. This isn’t surprising as Twitch is notorious for not publicly sharing the reason for banning a streamer. The streaming platform is strict in its punishment but many creators have complained they aren’t given the reason for their ban. Furthermore, BuckeFPS hasn’t publicly shared the reason or made a statement regarding his Twitch ban.
Fans are in luck, as a fan of BuckeFPS made a tweet on the social platform X explaining why BuckeFPS might have been banned from Twitch. The X user stated that the streamer’s ban might have been a result of him calling out a trans woman for participating in a female-only cup. However, there’s no confirmation that this was the reason.
BuckeFPS’ fans have expressed their support of the streamer on social media and are requesting Twitch to unban the content creator. In addition, the streamer’s fans have started a FreeBucke hashtag on X. While the clip is unviewable because of the streamer’s ban, some say Bucke’s words edged on the line of hate speech.
Opening BuckeFPS’ Twitch channel shows a notification that his channel is temporarily unavailable, so the ban is not permanent.
The exact duration of Bucke’s Twitch ban is unknown. However, the streamer will likely be back in three to seven days. This is in sync with Bucke’s previous Twitch bans. The Twitch channel has been banned twice previously with both bans lasting three days. If this new ban has the same length, he should be back on the platform on October 14.
Since this is Bucke’s third offense on the streaming platform Twitch might increase the ban duration. Twitch sometimes takes its rules seriously, so if the streamer continues to break them, he might be banned for longer the next time.
