Twitch’s most subscribed streamer Kai Cenat recently called out Félix “xQc” Lengyel in a stream and fans wonder why the two are feuding.
Kai Cenat has reached a new level of fame with his Mafiathon 2. The streamer broke Ironmouse’s record and became the most subscribed streamer on Twitch once again. The most popular creator on Twitch more than doubled his subs count. This accolade ensured that breaking it becomes an incredible feat for any streamer looking to claim the record.
One thing about Kai Cenat’s Mafiathon 2 and his streams that fans enjoy is his collaborations with popular celebrities. John Cena announced Mafiathon 2, Kim Kardashian released the trailer, and the streamer brought many famous people like Kevin Hart and Bill Nye the Science Guy for the subathon.
Recently, xQc expressed issues with Kai Cenat, sparking a feud.
Kai Cenat called out xQc after jokes that Kai’s content revolves around bringing celebrities on his streams and that he begs for subs.
In a stream, Kai ranted about xQc’s insults towards his content. He also claimed that collaborations are the most viral part of his streams but don’t account for half of his content. The streamer said xQc also claims Kai does nothing but cries for subs in his chat.
Kai said he has also done gaming streams which xQc knows about. He even reminded the viewers that xQc offered him $25,000 for every boss he fought in Elden Ring. The Canadian streamer previously made jokes about Kai’s content in a Fortnite stream, wherein he alleged Kai Cenat begged for subs from his fans.
xQc’s “Mount Rushmore of streamers” stream where xQc rated famous streamers is also speculated by fans to be fuel for the feud.
In the stream, xQc talked about various streamers like Adin Ross and others who he claimed changed the streaming industry. The streamer mentioned Kai in the stream but claimed the others were “founding blocks of streaming.” Many found it strange as Kai Cenat is currently one of the top content creators in the scene.
This isn’t the first time xQc has said something controversial about another streamer. Recently he also stated that Adin Ross is unnecessary for Kick viewership. The statement came after fan speculations that Kick viewership dropped after Adin Ross left the platform.
While Kai Cenat is no stranger to feuds, many fans would argue that xQc has beef with far more streamers. Regardless of which side viewers take, thousands will undoubtedly follow the feud.
