Usada Pekora’s mom had an April Fool’s debut as a fellow vtuber named Pekomama or Pekora Mommy. The reveal happened on Pekora’s official channel and was meant as a joke for her fans. While intended to be a silly prank, the stream reached over 180,000 concurrent viewers as fans clamored to learn more about Pekora’s mom.

During the stream, Pekomama answered questions about Pekora as a child and then the two played video games together. Fans learned that Pekomama loves the band X Japan and enjoys driving. She also has two other children, with Usada Pekora being the youngest.

The world of Pekoland is still an overall mystery, but Pekora’s mom’s design has fans assuming that all the citizens are also animal-human hybrids. The debut now has over 2.7 million views, which some fans pointed out is more than Pekora’s debut video.
