Streamer Felix “xQc” Lengyel has announced he will begin a “new era” after moving, but where does he live now?
xQc is one of the biggest streamers in the world, drawing in thousands of viewers for each stream whether it’s on Twitch or Kick. During his time in the spotlight, xQc has come under fire for his gambling addiction and content. Incidents such as the volatile breakup with Samantha “Adept” Lopez and questionable gambling streams have given the former Overwatch pro player a divisive reputation online.
Despite the drama, xQc remains one of the most popular streamers in the industry. Recently, the streamer had a serious talk with fans about the future of his content. He implied he wouldn’t be back in Canada for a long time, and teased a new era of content.
Fans now wonder where xQc plans to live, if not in his home country of Canada.
xQc claims he will leave his home country of Canada by the end of November 2024. xQc has traveled frequently between the United States and Canada. While in the United States, xQc lived in Texas and Los Angeles. xQc had little love for either state, with the streamer specifically calling California a “rat s*ithole f***ing place on stream. The streamer was not shy with his feelings about Canada either.
On November 25, xQc announced on stream that he would no longer be in Canada by the end of the month. The streamer clarified he would not return to the country for at least eight months, and says he may never even return. The “new era” he teased excited fans, as a change of scenery may freshen up his content.
This stream isn’t the first time that xQc has brought up his dislike of Canada.
On November 12, xQc expressed frustration with Canada during a stream. While reacting to a video about how difficult living in the country has become. xQc called Toronto, Vancouver, and Montreal “lame and expensive” places. He did not specify a reason for the move in his latest stream, but the annoyances he shared previously have influenced his decision.
xQc currently streams on Twitch and Kick, where he signed a $100 million deal in 2023. The “new era” may change some things for fans. Some wondered if the new era meant moving to Rumble like Dr. Disrespect or quitting gambling streams.
Fewer gambling streams bothered some fans, but others were more curious about what xQc would do after his supposed move. Some even believe he won’t leave Canada and flake on the decision. The only certainty is that xQc has the means to leave his home country anytime he feels like doing so.
