Valorant’s Night Market thrift store is going live during Episode 9 Act 3, with some highly coveted skins available at slashed prices.
The Night Market in Valorant doesn’t follow a strict schedule but it usually pops up once every two months. Occasionally, Riot surprises players by launching it after just a one-month gap, though that wasn’t the case in Episode 9. The last Night Market went live in September, leaving players eagerly waiting for another chance to purchase Premium skins at discounted prices.
Riot has officially announced Night Market for Episode 9 Act 3, and it’s going live sooner than one might think.
Valorant Night Market will run from December 16 through January 7. That means fans will have 20 days to unveil the cards and purchase their dream skin at cheap rates.
For the uninitiated, Valorant’s Night Market is a thrift store for skins. The Night Market offers players six randomly discounted weapon skins, with discounts ranging from 10% to 49%. Each player’s offering is unique, and only one set is available per Night Market for a limited time. Players cannot change the items being offered by the Night Market once their cards are revealed.
While it would be a dream come true to buy Elderflame Vandal at a 49% discount, Exclusive and Ultra skins are not part of the Night Market’s offerings. Only Select, Deluxe, and Premium-tier skins are eligible for discounts, meaning players hoping for high-tier cosmetics like the Elderflame Vandal will have to look elsewhere.
However, that doesn’t mean Night Market is any less appealing. This act’s Night Market pool will be quite exciting as it includes the brand-new Wonderstallion skins released in 9.03. The pink Unicorn skins are already pretty cheap, but with the discount, most players will be able to snag them off the market. The premium collection will include popular Valorant bundles like Ion, Sovereignty, Magepunk, Reaver, Gaia’s Vengeance, Prime 2.0, and more.
It’s worth noting, though, that players who already own the hottest skins in Valorant may get a dull Night Market. The thrift store only offers skins that players don’t already own, which is why some players can’t help but grumble about boring Night Market pulls.
