When does the current Valorant Act end? If this is something you were wondering, we have the answer for you below. Here is everything you need to know about the current and upcoming Valorant Acts.
We are currently in Season 2026 // Act I (V26 // Act I), which is the 34th Act in Valorant’s ranked history.
This Act began on January 7, 2026, and is scheduled to officially end on March 18, 2026, which should answer your question.
If you are grinding ranked and are looking to lock in a new personal high rank, your deadline is March 18. Make sure to finish your Battle Pass and go for a final push before this date!
Once the calendar turns to March 19, the current Act will close, and the game will introduce the next one.

When a Valorant Act ends, there’s no need to panic – it’s not the end of the world. Some things just get reset or updated, but most of your progress is still intact.
Here’s what changes when an Act ends:
So, after an Act ends, your Valorant rank will be hidden. You have to play several placement matches to see it again. Usually, you won’t calibrate too far from your previous rank – maybe a rank or two only.
This also means your Battle Pass ends, so you can no longer progress it. Then, you can buy the new Battle Pass for the upcoming Act and grind it out again.
The next Act usually starts the same day the previous one ends, so you don’t have to wait too long. Normally, Riot also likes adding new updates or small patches to the next Act. This might mean some agents get buffed or nerfed, so it’s a good idea to quickly read the patch notes before you queue for a competitive match.

Normally, Valorant Acts can run anywhere from 8 to 10 weeks. This means you will have a little over two months to play an entire Valorant Act.
The current Valorant Act – Season 2026 // Act I // follows that same pattern, as it runs from January 7 to March 18, which is exactly 10 weeks. This should be plenty of time to complete your Battle Pass or achieve a new peak rank.
Typically, most players make one last push near the end of an Act, so if you’re doing the same, expect to run into some extra sweaty opponents trying to get as much RR as possible before the reset.
