Ever wondered what the most expensive skin in CSGO is?
So have we, hence why we feel it’s necessary to make a separate post for this art piece of skin.
Typically, in everybody’s mind, we assume it’s the dragon lore.
However, that is far from the case.
With recent skin innovations with stickers, rare patterns and float values, skins have taken a turn for the better.
This brings us here: to the most expensive skin in CSGO history.
This here is the number one Karambit Case Hardened Blue Gem in the world.
Valued above a whopping $1,500,000, it costs more than most of your houses; and certainly all of ours.
This is the most desired skin amongst all CSGO skin traders and is the most well-known throughout the CSGO skin community.
Rightfully so: it is said the current owner was actually offered $1.5 million for the knife, which he declined!
What makes this knife so rare? Well, it’s because it’s a 1:1 skin.
The knife is pattern “387.” And although there are seven other pattern 387’s, this is the only factory new one ever unboxed. Making it a 1:1.
This knife was said to be $800,000 in 2021 and has risen to $1,500,000 in the last year.
The knife has only a complete blue play-side as the inspect side is entirely gold.
This, therefore, makes it stand out even amongst other Case Hardened knives.
Out of the entire eight 387 pattern Karambit Case Hardened collection, this is the only factory new one. The next lowest float is a field-tested Karambit.
The fact that there isn’t even a minimal-wear variant of this knife unboxed yet is the reason why it is so expensive; there is absolutely no middle ground.
If you were contemplating looking into a field-tested one, you will still need about $150,000, so probably best to just leave it.
