Once localized entirely in Japan, Hololive began going viral worldwide in 2020, thanks to their hilarious clips. In response, the agency debuted its Indonesian, English, and Chinese divisions that same year. Since then, multiple generations of global talents have become part of the agency’s success. Not to mention, Hololive has collaborated with international brands, most recently with Dodgers Stadium. Even so, all this Hololive news can get lost in the ocean of social media.

What is Holoplus?

Holoplus is the official social media app for Hololive production, which provides the latest news on the agency’s talents and events.

Holoplus already exists in Japan, but the app finally launched globally in August 2024. However, the app is currently unavailable in certain areas, such as Europe and the United Kingdom. The app allows fans to receive the latest news on Hololive happenings across all divisions. One of its handiest features is allowing fans to pick their “oshi,” meaning their favorite talent. Fans can filter the app to show only their favorites, a nifty feature for those who want streamlined oshi news.

How can I join Holoplus?

Holoplus fans can sign up directly on the app or with their Google accounts.

Like most modern social media apps, Holoplus requires an account to use. Holoplus users must adhere to its guidelines. Most of these are standard, such as the removal of harmful, discriminatory, or offensive content. Fans are encouraged to report these rule-breaking posts and block the users responsible.

However, Hololive has strict guidelines around derivative work, imploring fans to avoid commercial content and not harass talents with uncomfortable media.
