What disease is affecting Shylily?

Shylily disease

The popular vtuber Shylily has discussed the disease she is suffering from and how it is affecting her streaming activities.

Shylily is one of the most popular vtubers in the scene, behind only Ironmouse and Nimu Spacecat in terms of popularity. Unlike other popular vtubers who have done face reveals to better connect with their fans, Shylily prefers anonymity. She is one of the most private vtubers and doesn’t share much about her real life. Some fans prefer, this as they believe vtubers sharing too much ruins the immersion. However, now Shylily has shared something important about a condition she is suffering from.

The vtuber Shylily has discussed the disease that has been affecting her streaming and fans want to know whether it’s serious.

Will the disease affect Shylily’s streaming activities?

Shylily doesn’t want to disclose what disease she has, but states it will impact her streaming.

The vtuber Shylily tweeted on X explaining that she has been struggling with streaming because of a non-life-threatening but painful disease. She elaborated that she doesn’t like sharing “health stuff” about her condition but wanted to clear things up to avoid rumors. This isn’t new as it is known that Shylily is a very private person and doesn’t share many details.

Furthermore, Shylily stated that she would most likely have to go into surgery. The recovery from the surgery will last at least two months and the vtuber’s streaming activities would be significantly impacted. While Shylily said she’s having further consultations, the general consensus is that the surgery will likely be needed.

Fans are worried about the vtuber and are wishing her a speedy recovery but are also happy that the vtuber isn’t facing a more serious disease. A fan has speculated that Shylily might have ovarian cysts.

The fan explained in a Reddit post why they think Shylily might have this disease. The Reddit user stated ovarian cysts are “non-life-threatening and extremely painful.” Furthermore, the cysts may or may not require surgeries depending on the case.

However, there is no confirmation or even official hints about that particular disease. Still, a two-month recovery time is serious and it’s understandable why the private vtuber disclosed some information about her condition. Shylily would need the appropriate time to recover and rumors are very quick to spread. The vtuber is getting ahead and clearing up any future misconceptions.
