These are the 5 wealthiest earners among Dota 2 players and athletes from Germany

Kuroky

Dota 2 has earned German esports players more money than has any other game by a long shot, producing the Germany’s wealthiest esports competitors. Of the $51.9 million collected across all competitive gaming titles and tournaments, much of it comes from Valve’s popular MOBA. But who are the wealthiest Dota 2 players who’ve won the greatest shares of the prize pool?

In terms of prize money, Dota 2 leads the charge as the esport with many of the biggest prize pools historically. So it’s not surprising to see that the wealthiest esports athletes in Germany are also playing Dota 2.

Germany ranks decently in the global Dota 2 country leaderboard, with an average MMR of over 2000 and representing nearly 1% of the game’s overall player base. This puts Germany well above many other European nations in terms of average skill, which helps to explain why so many German pro players have won big money over the years.

These are the top 5 wealthiest esports players in Germany in terms of prize money.

KuroKy – $5.29 million

Kuro “KuroKy” Salehi Takhasomi is Germany’s top‑earning Dota 2 pro and overall esports competitor, with over $5.29 million in prize money won in his career. A Berlin native, he has been competing since the early days of Dota and has played support and captain roles across esports heavyweight teams, including Natus Vincere, Team Secret, Team Liquid, and now Nigma Galaxy.
