We may know the release date for the next Valorant agent 26, codenamed Sherry.
Since Abyss was released, Riot Games has been sneaking in teasers and clues regarding the next agent coming to Valorant. Sherry, who appears to be somehow connected to the Hourglass kingdom, is rumored to be a character locked behind the massive glass toward A site. Besides lore and their category, players haven’t been able to find much about agent 26.
Leakers have now uncovered exactly when Valorant agent 26 will be revealed to the public eye, and it’s sooner than anyone expected.
The official release date for Valorant Agent 26 is still under wraps, but our educated guess points to an August 27 launch.
This is based on the recent leak which claims that Agent 26 will be officially revealed at the Valorant Champions 2024 finals, which will kick off on August 25. Since Clove was released two days after her VCT debut, it’s logical to think that Agent 26 may be released on August 27.
The date makes more sense when after looking at the previous act release patterns. Considering Episode 9 Act 1 commenced on June 25, it’s likely to conclude in two months, around August 27. This aligns perfectly with speculation about Agent 26’s possible release date of August 27. This means players should expect agent 26 to become playable in Valorant Episode 9, Act 2 of Valorant.
As reported earlier, agent 26 has now been confirmed to be an initiator by several leakers. If true, Sherry will join the stacked roster of intel-gatherers in Valorant who specialize in exposing hidden enemies. The latest cards also suggest a plant-based character who may be able to toy with time. One of the leaked cards shows a branch wrapped around an hourglass, further confirming their connection with the mysterious Valorant kingdom. Another one has similar floral themes, leading players to imagine a wilding like Skye.
