The Arcane trailer has officially been released, and Riot Games has confirmed that the hit show will also be celebrated in Valorant with a new Arcane 2.0 skin line.
When Arcane was released in 2021, it rocked the entire gaming community with its tear-jerking storyline and stunning visuals. The event was celebrated across all major Riot gaming titles, specifically in League of Legends and Valorant. For the latter, Riot rolled out a time-limited Arcane collector’s set, which became unavailable once it left the store. In 2024, the Arcane Sheriff remains one of the rarest items in the game, and those who couldn’t get it still regret it to this day.
The great news is that players get another shot at grabbing Arcane-themed items with the release of Season 2 in November. Riot Games has confirmed that the Arcane skin line will be returning to Valorant.
The Arcane 2.0 skin line will most likely be available in a collectible shop on November 9, 2024.
Riot hasn’t confirmed the official date, but for Arcane 1.0, the skins were available on the same day the show aired on Netflix. This year, the season goes live on November 9, which means players can expect an alternate shop to appear on the Arcane release date featuring shiny new cosmetics. Players will be able to shop the regular skin bundle Doombringer while having the option to purchase the time-limited Arcane skin line in the background.
While it’s exciting that Arcane is returning, players may be disappointed to learn that the Arcane Sheriff will remain exclusive to Season 1. Instead, Riot will be releasing a brand-new skin for Season 2, along with additional cosmetics like last year. This new skin could be for any weapon, but it might share the same theme as the Sheriff to complete the set. Fans are betting on the Operator as the next Arcane skin.
Arcane is a strictly collectible item, so skin enthusiasts should stay informed that these skins will not return to shop rotation, Night Market, or any other skin market in Valorant at all.
As fans await the Arcane 2.0 skins in Valorant, Dota 2 players are equally excited for the Ringmaster Dota 2 release date, abilities, and more.
