Developer Fatshark has announced a closed beta test for Warhammer: 40,000 Darktide will run from October 14 to 16. The game itself will launch on November 30 for PC, making the beta a good time to find out if it’s for you. So long as you get in, of course.
If you want to sign up to take part in Warhammer: 40,000 Darktide’s closed beta test, head to the official website. Once you’ve entered your email address, you will receive an email requesting more details, such as PC specs and region.
If this is the first you’ve heard of Darktide, it is a co-op first-person action game where you and your allies will fight hordes of enemies. The goal is to reclaim Tertium by slaughtering pretty much everything in sight. Not something you’ll have time to do in Warhammer 40,000: Darktides’ closed beta, obviously.
If you’ve played Vermintide 2, Fatshark’s previous game, you pretty much know what to expect here. The main difference is that rather than choosing from a selection of characters. You can customize their appearance, voice, and origin.
However, if you make it into Warhammer: 40,000 Darktide’s closed beta. Don’t get too attached to your character. All progression will get wiped once the test has concluded.
