The popular Hololive vtuber Iroha Kazama has announced on X that she is going on a hiatus and fans want to know why and when she’ll be back.
Iroha Kazama debuted within Hololive in 2021 alongside other vtubers like Sakamata Chloe. The vtuber instantly became popular with fans and hit the 400,000 subs mark on YouTube within three weeks of her debut. She has continued to grow and reached the one million subscribers milestone in 2024. On November 30, 2024, Iroha Kazam celebrated her third anniversary and debuted a new model in a live stream on YouTube.
On the same day, the vtuber announced that she is going on a hiatus and fans want to know why Iroha Kazama is taking a break and when she will return.
The vtuber Iroha Kazama stated that she is taking a streaming hiatus because of her severe throat issues.
In her X post, Iroha Kazama explained to her fans that she needs to take a break from streaming because she will have to go to the hospital for vocal exercises to cure her throat. The vtuber elaborated that doctors have given her hope that she will be completely fine soon.
Furthermore, Iroha stated that until she returns her manager will take care of all her posts and uploads. The vtuber elaborated that she would coordinate with him regarding her activities and also check her X account and post if possible.
Iroha Kazama didn’t give an exact date for her return, but stated she would be back from her hiatus as soon as her throat recovered.
In her tweet, the vtuber stated that the doctors had assured her that there was a high chance of a speedy recovery. Iroha didn’t specify when she’ll be back, but that is understandable due to the reason for her break. Recovering from an illness takes time, which makes it hard to give an approximate timeframe for a full recovery.
Nevertheless, Iroha Kazama expressed her desire to return as soon as possible which is a positive sign for her fans. Furthermore, the vtuber thanked Hololive and her fans for all the support they have provided her and assured everyone that they would hear from her soon.
