The vtuber Froot is an undead lich who has been around for so long that she has forgotten some of her past life such as who named her Apricot.
The VShojo-affiliated vtuber Froot is the first VShojo member who wasn’t an independent vtuber before joining. Froot is an avid gamer with a preference for horror games and has green hair that is impossible to dye. The vtuber has interesting lore, and her undead lich form offers her special abilities similar to Ironmouse. Similar to other vtubers like Shoto, Froot also has a sad past life that led to her current form and life as a vtuber.
Here’s everything to know about Froot’s lore and past life.
Froot was a half-dragon girl but she lost her abilities associated with that when she was turned into an undead lich.
The undead lich vtuber Froot has existed for such a long time that she has forgotten much about her past life, including who named her Apricot. She thinks it was a friend that gave her the name but she is unsure.
The vtuber doesn’t share much about her past life. While most of this is thanks to her fading memory about her past life, the streamer has indicated that she went through various hardships. However, she has informed fans that she was a half-dragon girl before becoming an undead lich.
In short, Froot has shared very little of her personal life before becoming a vtuber. However, since she jumped straight into VShojo without an independent phase, it’s possible that she has a personal relationship with the agency’s staff. Aside from that guess, and the controversies surround her former relationship, there’s not much fans know about her.
Froot’s lore is that after becoming an undead lich, she lives in an underworld castle and passes her time by drawing art.
When someone sees Froot for the first time she appears to be a regular person. However, on a closer look, her long pointed ears and dark purple horns can distinguish her from humans. In addition to her physically not looking like a human Froot also doesn’t have a soul. This distinguishes the streamer from ordinary people, both in body and in mind.
Froot’s soul is inside the purple pendant she wears on her chest and the pendant is a living creature called Terry. The creature can fly and Froot calls him Phil to annoy him, which the pendant considers a “boomer name.”
Froot got into streaming when she had an idea that she could harvest human souls by disguising them as Twitch subscriptions. The vtuber’s ability to absorb souls via the internet is similar to another VShojo member, Ironmouse.
