Popular vtuber FeFe was banned “indefinitely” from Twitch, but was unbanned after getting lawyers involved and going viral.
FeFe is not new to the vtuber scene and has been active since 2019. She has a decent following and receives good views on her content but she claims for some reason Twitch keeps banning her without any feedback so she can avoid the issue. FeFe shared the news of her 7th and indefinite ban on X and fans were worried that they wouldn’t be able to see their favorite steamer again on Twitch.
However, the controversial steamer was unbanned, and here are all the details we have about it.
The vtuber FeFe claimed that she was banned on Twitch “indefinitely,” but received no reason for the ban.
The vtuber FeFe alleges that she hasn’t received any reasons for her previous bans and this 7th ban was “indefinite.” It is normal for Twitch to not share the reason for banning any streamer publicly. However, Twitch shares the reasons with streamers so they can avoid getting banned again. For instance, when Destiny was banned, Twitch didn’t share the reason publicly, but Destiny was told why he was banned.
The vtuber claimed that Twitch attacked her by not giving reasons for the bans. Furthermore, she also claimed that she requested a Twitch partner manager but was told that her channel wasn’t popular enough to be a priority. Finally, after exhausting all options FeFe involved legal help and her lawyers reached out to Twitch. However, she informed fans that Twitch responded with “Sorry, we can’t tell you” to her lawyers.
It is unclear why FeFe got unbanned again, but the vtuber reached out to Twitch Support to ensure this isn’t repeated.
Neither FeFe nor Twitch informed fans why the ban was lifted. However, FeFe made a post on X claiming she got in contact with Twitch Support who walked her through the flagged action. She also elaborated that Twitch Support was very kind and she is hopeful this situation will not repeat itself.
