IEM is one of the longest-running global pro gaming tours worldwide, having debuted in 2006. Since then, IEM has established itself as a mainstay of the professional Counter-Strike scene, and many consider it an unofficial major.

It was only fitting for Vitality to end Navi’s streak in a memorably intense game.

The rise in IEM viewership began with IEM Dallas 2024 doubling its peak viewership from 2023. Notably, Vitality was also part of the grand final for that event, but the squad ultimately lost against G2 Esports.
