


Day 4 of the group stage of VCT Ascension Pacific 2025 has come to a close. Velocity Gaming ended the day with a nail-biting finish, winning against Riddle Order. On the other hand, Motiv Esports and SLT Seongnam secured their second win during the tournament. In this article, let’s take a deep dive into what went down on day 4 of VCT Ascension Pacific 2025.

Day 4 of the group stage of VCT Ascension Pacific consisted of some crucial matches. With the spto in the playoffs still available, there is everything to fight for. The two teams that secure their spot in the grand finals secure a place in VCT Pacific in the 2026 season. During the tournament, we have already seen some major upsets with Nongshim RedForce losing their first game.
The first match of the day was between SLT Seongnam and E-KING. This was the first time these two teams faced off against each other. On Map 1, SLT Seongnam secured the lead on attack with a score of 7-5. They went on to win the match with a scoreline of 13-8. The duelist Zexy ended the map with seven first bloods to his name, which was the total of the players of E-KING. On the second map, E-KING went on a rampage and secured the win with a score of 13-4. Zexy was the only player from SLT Seongnam to have a positive KDA during the map.
In the final, we saw both teams give it their best. It was a close affair, with the first half ending in a 6-6 score. SLT Seongnam secured the win with a score of 13-11, with C1ndeR ending the final map with a KDA of 20/ 13 /14. With this win, SLT Seongnam has secured its spot in the playoffs. On the other hand, E-KING will need to win the remaining two games to stand a chance of qualifying for the playoffs.
In the second match of the day, Motiv Esports faced off against Team NKT. There was a lot at stake during this game, as the losing team would have been eliminated from the tournament. Both the maps ended with a score of 13-11, showing how intensely close both games were. Motiv Esports completed the clean sweep against Team NKT with a 2-0 victory.
Following the second game, all eyes were on the final match of the day between Riddle Order and Velocity Gaming. Going into this match, Riddle Order were the favourites to win the series. On Map 1, they proved their point, winning with a scoreline of 13-11. Minty had one of the best performances seen by any player during the tournament as he ended the map with a KDA of 22 / 16 / 17 while playing Omen.
Game 2 saw a different story as Velocity Gaming on attack took the lead 7-5. They went on to win the game with a score of 13-10. All eyes were on the decider map. Riddle Order weren’t holding back at all as they ended the first half with a score of 8-4. Knowing what was at stake, Velocity Gaming returned the favour and took the game to overtime. In the final round, Madelyn secured a 1v2 clutch, taking the game to overtime.
During overtime, Velocity Gaming shut down Riddle Order and completed the reverse Sweep with a score of 14-12. Following today’s matches, below are the teams that are still undefeated in VCT Ascension Pacific 2025:
The top 3 teams from each group will secure a spot in the playoffs phase of the tournament. Only time will tell who will join the best teams in VALORANT Esports in the 2026 season.
