Since its inaugural season, VALORANT Esports has been on an upward trajectory. During 2025, VALORANT Champions Paris had a peak viewership of just over 5 million concurrent viewers, with many of them coming from the VCT Americas region, which has historically been one of the most popular VCT leagues. It consists of teams from North and South America, with a completely new roster joining in the upcoming 2026 season. Recently, VALORANT announced the new roadmap for VCT Americas for the 2026 season. Let’s take a look at the new structure of the VCT Americas League as well as the Challengers League in the 2026 Season.

VALORANT recently announced the schedule for the 2026 season of VCT Pacific & VCT EMEA. Within that announcement, it was revealed that all regional VCT Kickoff tournaments will take place in a new format. VCT AMERICAS 2026 Kickoff will be taking place in a triple-bracket format. The major reason for the change in format is to make sure that teams play more games before being eliminated, while also reducing the gap between VCT Kickoff and VALORANT Masters Santiago.
Following VALORANT Ascension Americas 2025, there will be 12 teams taking part in VCT Americas 2026. The new organizations include the return of Envy to the VCT Americas League. The teams that previously qualified for VALORANT Champions 2025 will receive a bye in the upper bracket of the tournament. The top 3 teams from VCT Americas Kickoff will secure a spot at VALORANT Masters Santiago. VCT Americas Kickoff will take place from January 15 to February 15th. Fans will be able to watch the tournament in English, Spanish, and Portuguese.

Similar to the 2025 season of VALORANT Challengers NA, the tournament will feature three stages. Each stage will consist of a Swiss Stage featuring 16 teams. The top 8 teams will qualify for the playoffs phase of the tournament. Following each stage, there will be a promotion and relegation series for an opportunity for new teams to secure their spot in the next phase of the tournament. Below are the dates for each of the stages:
Teams that win VALORANT Challengers NA Stage 3 will receive a spot in the VCT Americas Road to Champions. The team with the highest circuit points after all three stages of VALORANT Challengers NA will qualify for the VCT Americas LCQ phase that will take place on July 28th and 29th. The team that wins VCT Americas LCQ will help determine the final team that will compete in VCT Americas 2026 Playoffs.

VALORANT Game Changers NA 2026 will feature a total prize pool of $150,000 across all events. The league will consist of multiple open qualifier tournaments for new teams in the GC ecosystem to take part in. The league will start off with a Kickoff tournament, followed by Stage 1 and Stage 2, similar to VCT Americas. Each GC NA Stage will consist of the Swiss stage and a playoffs stage.
Following all three tournaments, the VALORANT Game Changers 2026 Main Event will take place in September to decide which teams qualify for the VALORANT Game Changers Championship 2026. Below is the detailed schedule for the upcoming VALORANT Game Changers NA 2026 League:
STAGE 1 – Open Qualifier (32 Teams per Qualifier):
STAGE 1 – Swiss Stage (16 Teams):
STAGE 1 – Main Event (8 Teams):
STAGE 2 – Open Qualifier (32 Teams per Qualifier):
STAGE 2 – Swiss Stage (16 Teams):
STAGE 2 – Main Event (8 Teams):
Stages One and Two of VALORANT Game Changers NA 2026 will feature a prize pool of $65,000 each. The teams that finished in the top 2 from Game Changers NA 2025, Shopify Rebellion, and Wadadaa will receive direct invites to Swiss Stage 1 2026. The VALORANT Game Changers NA 2026 Main event will consist of the top 8 teams from the league. They will face off in a double-bracket format with the winning team securing a spot at the VALORANT Game Changers Championship 2026.
