Valorant skins can be tempting, and many players fall victim to making purchases without thinking twice. It’s easy to keep spending Valorant Points without really noticing how much it adds up. But at some point, it’s fair to ask: how much did I spend? The only way to find out is by checking your Valorant purchase history which will show you exactly how much you’ve drained your wallet. So let’s go, time to see how it’s done!

What does the Valorant purchase history show?

Saying Valorant has a “purchase history” gives you an idea of what to expect, but what information does it show exactly? Many players get confused, so let’s be clear about it once and for all.

The Valorant purchase history only shows real-money transactions involving Valorant Points (VP). So, this does not show what purchases you made in the game using VP. This means you won’t be able to see which bundles, Battle Passes, or skins you bought for the best Valorant agents you own.

For each VP transaction, the tool displays the following information:

  • Date of purchase
  • Amount charged (in the currency you used)
  • Valorant Points received
  • Payment method used

The tool will also tell you the total amount you spent on Valorant Points, so it’s a good way to realize how much you’ve invested in the game.

That being said, if you’re looking for a list of specific skins you bought in-game, this is not the place to check it. The tool only exists to track money spent, not skins themselves.

How to check Valorant purchase history (step-by-step)

Checking your purchase history can be done quickly and will only take you a few minutes. However, you’ll need to do this through Riot’s official website, and not the Valorant client itself.

Follow the steps below:

  1. Visit Riot’s official support page: As we mentioned above, we can only use the tool on Riot’s website. So, you can visit Riot’s official support page using the link provided.

  2. Log in to your Valorant account: Next, you’ll have to sign in to the Valorant account you want to check. If you have two-factor authentication, you might have to grab a verification code sent to your email.

  3. Head over to the purchase history section: Then, you’ll be redirected to the support page once again. Look for Support Tools > Payments > Purchase History.

  4. Click “Get my purchase history”: Following the third step will lead you to a page where you can check your Valorant purchase history. All you need to do is click the red button that reads “Get My Purchase History.”

Once you’ve completed the fourth step, the website will display a complete list of your recent transactions, as well as a grand total of how much you’ve spent in your local currency. You can do whatever you want with this information – save it somewhere, or just rethink life and ask yourself why you spent that much money.

Why you should check your Valorant purchase history

There are multiple reasons why you’d want to check your Valorant purchase history. It’s simply a very useful tool that serves many purposes.

One of the biggest reasons why players visit this tool is to track their total spending. VP prices can add up quickly over months or years, especially if you’re buying the new bundle every time it appears in the shop. You can get a quick reality check and see how much you’ve spent over time.

Another use for this tool is for verifying your transactions. Sometimes, you might buy VP and notice that it wasn’t credited to your account. You can use the tool to check whether the transaction went through or not. The purchase history pretty much confirms whether Riot received the payment. If your transaction isn’t listed there, then it hasn’t been confirmed.

The third reason is if you want a refund. People make mistakes or simply regret purchases. Riot has a strict refund policy that is based on time, so you can use the purchasing tool to check if the purchase in question can be refunded.

Finally, checking your purchase history is also a good way to see if someone’s abusing your payment method. If you think unauthorized purchases are being made on your account, this page is the fastest way to spot charges.

Can you refund purchases in Valorant?

If you are considering a refund for VP or items, your Valorant purchase history actually helps out a lot.

Yes, you can refund skins in Valorant, but only if they meet certain conditions:

  • The VP or skins were purchased within the last 14 days
  • The VP or skins have not been used since the purchase

The purchase history tool essentially lets you confirm when the VP was bought, so you can check whether it has passed the 14-day limit. You can also see which payment method was used, so if the refund is accepted, you’ll know where the funds will reappear.

We know that some of the best Valorant players prefer playing without paid cosmetics but what about you? Are you a fan of wearing bling? Let us know in the comments!
