Riot Games has built an excellent reputation for releasing eye-catching skin cosmetics in VALORANT. And the Prelude to Chaos 2.0 collection will continue the trend, announced via official social media accounts. It is the second edition of the popular Prelude to Chaos bundle, which was well-appreciated by the VALORANT community. Here’s what we know about the new Prelude to Chaos 2.0 bundle, from weapons to price.
The Prelude to Chaos 2.0 Skin Collection is the second iteration of the renowned skin line. The first variant of this skin was released back in VALORANT Patch 5.0. When it was released, it immediately became one of the most popular skins in the community. The primary reason for this was the unique animations of the skin collection. Alongside that, there was an extra emphasis on the VFX on each variant of the skin.
Another point was the melee being a giant sword. The Prelude to Chaos 2.0 is slated to launch on September 18th or 19th worldwide. The skin will be available in the market alongside the VALORANT Champions 2025 skin collection.
The Prelude To Chaos 1.0 skin collection consisted of skins for weapons such as Shorty, Stinger, Vandal, Operator, and the Blade of Chaos melee. The Prelude To Chaos 2.0 Skin collection will consist of the following weapons:
Each of the weapon skins will have four levels and four color variants. There are blue, red, green, and the original purple variants of the skin. The previous bundle was valued at 8,700 VALORANT points. The price for each weapon skin was 2,175 VALORANT Points.

On the VALORANT Subreddit, the VALORANT community present there is quite pleased. Redditor misterterrific0 posted a very positive review of the new melee and sheriff skin. Another user, Orpalz, felt like the new sheriff firing a shot feels like a punch. It does feel like VALORANT has increased the bass of the shooting sounds compared to previous skins.
Reddit User zackdaniels93 had quite a popular take on the skin in the current situation. With the VALORANT Champions 2025 skin collection currently still available, they won’t be buying this skin.
The community is very appreciative of the Sheriff and the Flail of Chaosmelee skin as a whole. Many feel the Phantom skin is very similar to the Vandal skin in the 1.0 collection. There aren’t many opinions on the spectre and bulldog, as most VALORANT fans do not widely use those weapons.
The first week of VALORANT Champions 2025 concluded with teams like G2 Esports, Team Liquid, and EDward Gaming losing their first game. This resulted in them playing in the first elimination matches in the tournament.
