This year it’s nearly six years since the release of VALORANT. With the start of 2026, VALORANT has announced the start of Season V26 ACT 1. In a post on their official social media accounts, VALORANT has announced the launch of a new game mode called All Random One Site. Let’s take a look at this limited-time event and consider whether VALORANT should make it a permanent one.
VALORANT V26 ACT 1 is the first major patch of the game in 2026. With this patch, the new pistol model called Bandit has been released. In the video titled: Welcome to Season 2026 // Dev Updates (video below – 3:53 timestamp), the new gun and the game mode were showcased. The new weapon will cost 600 credits to buy. The damage output of this weapon is based on the distance between the player and the enemy, meaning that in close range, one head shot is enough to take down the enemy.
In the same video, VALORANT announced the launch of the new game mode All Random One Site. This will be a limited-time game mode that will be available for all to play. This is similar to the snowball fight game mode that was recently released during the Christmas season. The new game mode will consist of two teams of five with the goal of planting the spike. Every round, players will spawn into a random VALORANT Agent. Unlike spike rush, abilities in this game mode will be similar to those of the team death match game mode. Players will be required to secure finishes and map orbs to get abilities.
Weapons and armor selection will be similar to the team deathmatch game mode, with players having the ability to select certain weapons based on the round. Teams will be forced to play on one site as parts of the map will be blocked off. The goal of the game mode is to just allow players to have some fun while testing out agents that they previously haven’t. Due to the agents being random every round, players will be forced to change their play style each round.
It must be noted that there can be moments when a team could have five duelists or five sentinels, so fans will need to be ready. The VALORANT game mode All Random One Site will be available for a short time, but we hope that it does become permanent, as it will help in the fatigue players currently feel in the gameplay of VALORANT. With the VCT Kickoff taking place soon, we will come to know of the impact of the new update on the competitive meta.
