After months of hype and news, VALORANT Mobile has finally launched in China. The game is now open for all players within the country of China on both Apple and Android devices. With the launch, Riot Games has announced multiple new features and events in the game. In this article, let’s take a look at the launch of VALORANT Mobile in China in depth.

VALORANT Mobile has officially launched in China

Back in 2021, VALORANT announced plans to create a mobile version of its popular PC game. Back then, it had been just a year since the game’s launch worldwide. With the massive reception the game received from its fans, the game became one of the most popular in the world. A primary reason for this was the unique skins and gameplay mechanics of the game. During VALORANT Champions 2024, Riot Games stated that the game is under development.

VALORANT Mobile Officially Launched in China on Android and iOS

Since then, we have seen multiple closed betas of VALORANT M available for fans in China. Finally, on August 19th, VALORANT Mobile officially launched in China. The game, before its release, had over 60 million registrations on the App Store. With the release of VALORANT M, the game is now available on PC, Console, and mobile . Currently, there is no news about there being crossplay between these versions of the game. On specific phones, VALORANT Mobile will be able to play at 144 FPS.

On launch, VALORANT M will first have fans needing to play the tutorial in-game. Players can select a three-finger grip or a finger grip. Following the tutorial, players will have the following agents unlocked in the game:

There will also be two maps for the Team Deathmatch Mode: Shipyard and Ancient Village. There will be a total of 10 game modes available on launch. This will also include the new exclusive game mode for VALORANT M. During the China Launch event for VALORANT Mobile, Riot Games confirmed that it would be investing around $200 million in VALORANT Mobile Esports. The game will also be releasing an inclusive weapon skin bundle whose finisher animation is of a rocket taking off.

With VALORANT Mobile launching in China, only time will tell when the game will be available to play Worldwide.
