Valorant map callouts for Haven explained with images

Valorant Haven map B window

Knowing the Valorant map callouts for Haven is essential to winning games on the map. It’s a large and complex map, and knowing the ins and outs of it will help team communication.

Haven has three sites with A, B, and C. Both A and C have two paths to get to it, and B is pretty easy to get to from an entry for C. As attackers, players need to coordinate quickly and effectively where they plan on going, relying on callouts. As defenders, players need to know where enemies are coming from, and that generally means knowing the right names of spots to tell teammates. With the beloved map returning to the game soon, now is a great time to learn.

Luckily, Valorant map callouts for Haven are pretty simple to learn.

Haven callouts on the map itself

Most of the map callouts on Haven are the same ones the game has labeled on the map. In general, players will use these terms more often than anything else, so these are great to learn.

One that varies a lot is A tower. Because it’s got two areas that stack on top of each other, players will further specify where they are on tower by saying heaven or hell. Some people also say up or down.

Another that people will say differently is C window or C short. Oftentimes, players will just call this entire area garage and say if they’re going toward C or up and to the defenders spawn and B area.

What do CT and flank mean in Valorant?

Another popular map callout that some Valorant players use is CT. This is a term that came from Counter-Strike, but it means the defender side spawn. It stands for counter-terrorists, which roughly means defenders in Valorant. However, some players in lower ELOs will use this to mean spawn in general, so keep an open mind if a teammate uses CT.

Flank is another Valorant term that applies to all maps, and it roughly means that the enemy is behind the team. So instead of being in front of the team where most enemies will normally be, they’ve come through the map to position behind a team.

While the game does list these callouts on the map, it’s much quicker communication when everyone on a team knows the callouts – there’s no time spent trying to figure out what a callout means or how to communicate with the rest of the team.
