With Esports Nations Cup (ENC) 2026 getting closer each day, teams are making their moves to strengthen their bets stronger with hires and other strategies.
According to a recent report, Jose “RBTX” Jamir is set to lead the Philippines VALORANT ENC team as the head coach, while Benedich “Benkai” Tan and Andreas Nielsen take the roles in Singapore and Saudi Arabia.
RBTX
After getting promoted as the head coach of Team Secret for the VCT EMEA, according to sources, RBTX may take the reins of Team Philippines as the head coach for the grand stage of ENC 2026.
RBTX comes with a stacked resume featuring multiple national titles won during his time at Oasis Gaming.
Before taking the role of head coach for Team Secret and Oasis Gaming, he played the role of tactical coach for Rex Regum Qeon and even led the Philippines national team as the head coach during the Southeast Asian Games.
If he secures the role for ENC, it will be his second time representing his home team on the world stage as the head coach.
Benkai
According to reports from Sheep Esports, the Singaporean team may appoint Benkai as their head coach for the ENC. After making his name as the in-game lead for Paper Rex, this will be an opportunity for Benkai to represent his national team on the global stage.
Having an excellent career as a player, taking key roles for Global Esports and Paper Rex, Tan has the right chops to lead a national team in the ENC 2026. However, his relatively less experience as a coach may raise some concerns among fans of the Singaporean national team.
Andreas
Lastly, the Saudi Arabia team may appoint the Danish coach, Andreas. Unlike the previous two, Andreas does not share the same nationality as the potential team he may get hired for the ENC 2026.
However, he is well acquainted with the nation’s esports scene, having been based there for a few years and coaching the ALQadsiah Esports from the beginning of 2026.
