Following the completion of VCT Americas Stage 2, the tournament draw took place. Within this, the 16 teams participating in the event were drawn into their respective groups. Let’s take a look at these draws, the community opinion, and storylines to keep an eye out for.
| Group A | Group B | Group C | Group D |
|---|---|---|---|

| Xi Lai Gaming | MIBR | DRX | Team Heretics |
| GiantX | RRQ | NRG | Dragon Ranger Gaming |

All the best Valorant players will be headed to Paris, where the finals will run from September 12th to October 5th. The tournament will feature the top 16 teams in VALORANT esports. Currently, there are four regional VCT Leagues: Americas, EMEA, China, and Pacific.
Teams that finish in positions between 13th and 16th place will receive a sum of $20,000. Teams that finish between positions 9 and 12 will receive $30,000 each. Each of the 16 teams will also receive a certain sum of money from the sale of the VALORANT Champions 2025 skin that released this year.
If we take a look at Group A, we can see two of the most famous teams in VALORANT Esports: Sentinels and Paper Rex.
Group C, in the eyes of many, is the group of death this year, featuring the likes of DRX, VCT EMEA Stage Two winners Team Liquid, EDward Gaming, and NRG.
Regarding Group B, Redditor SoullessShadow77 noted that this will be another VALORANT Champions event, where the player Crashies will be in the same group as Bilibili Gaming. For those unaware, Crashies’ prior team, NRG and Bilibili Gaming, had quite the rivalry in previous years.

Another user on Reddit, SIUonCrack, is excited to see G2 Esports face off against T1.

This rivalry was first showcased during the VALORANT Masters Bangkok. In the grand finals of the tournament, T1 defeated G2 Esports to secure their first international Trophy. Since then, G2 Esports has completed the regional 3-peat winning VCT Americas Kickoff, Stage One, and Stage 2. It feels like G2 Esports is out for revenge and would love to knock T1 out of VALORANT Champions 2025.
