Today was the final day of the group stage, which means it was the last chance for reams to secure a spot in the playoff.
Here’s a recap of the day’s action, featuring a matchup between Cloud9 Blue and Vision Strikers, Team Secret vs Team Vikings, and Envy vs X10 Crit.

NA was down bad at the beginning of the day, with Sentinels already eliminated and the rest of the region facing their last chance to make the playoffs.
Thankfully for NA fans, Cloud9 kept the region alive with a hard-fought, messy win over Vision Strikers in the “group of death.”
Cloud9 is now the first NA team to make it to the playoffs, with Envy looking to join them later today.
We also saw a loser’s bracket match between Team Vikings and Team Secret. Both teams took a map from Gambit, so it was interesting to see which one was for real.
Secret dominated the matchup and looked like the much better team, which they needed. It’s going to be an uphill battle for them in the playoffs.
It’s a bad day to be an NA fan, as the biggest underdog in the tournament just sent Envy packing on their way to a playoff run.
Beating a team twice in a row is tough, and Envy couldn’t hold off the X10 momentum on Haven. In an overtime match, X10 proved to be the better team on the day.
This goes to show how phenomenal the Valorant talent is all across the world. Any team could win in a given match, which adds even more excitement to the upcoming Champions playoffs.
