It’s already looking like 2026 could be a bumper year for Dota 2 events, with more than a dozen upcoming confirmed tournaments, and more on the way. From January to December, there’s barely a month with a break, and rather, just a packed season full of million-dollar tournaments and chances to qualify for the biggest events around.
From BLAST Slam to PGL Wallachia, ESL One to EWC, and, of course, The International, there’s so many events you need to pay attention to. Luckily we’ve put together a quick reference for all the Dota 2 events coming up on the calendar. Take a luck and keep up to date as we update this page!

January kicks off with a full schedule, barely giving Dota 2 pros a break. Alongside a full month of qualifiers for the upcoming events in February and March, several Tier 2 and Tier 3 events make up the majority of the time, before FISSURE returns at the end of the month.

2026 is in full swing for Dota 2 season by February with both BLAST Slam VI and DreamLeague Season 28 dominating the whole month.

March is a similarly packed schedule with events running the entire month, with only 10 days where you can afford to turn off from Dota. With the end of DL Season 28, straight into PGL Wallachia Season 7, there’s a quick turn around. Then at the end of the month, we’re off to the UK for ESL One Birmingham 2026.

April is when PGL Wallachia Season 8 is scheduled to happen, but all eyes will be starting to focus on Summer and the major events. This is a quieter month, but still with a million dollar tournament, as is standard in Dota 2.

May is another Dota 2 betting packed month with both DreamLeague Season 29 and BLAST Slam VII taking place. While we don’t currently know where BLAST Slam is taking place, rumors suggest a Europe focused Major that is sure to attract fans.

There are currently no scheduled major Dota 2 tournaments in June, likely due to leaving a buffer of space for qualifiers for next month’s EWC and the ENC. Additionally, The International 2026 qualifiers take place in June.

July is, of course, dominated by the Esports World Cup. The event, and its qualifiers, occupy almost a full month in the Dota 2 calendar, and we’d expect only a few small tournaments to interrupt it. No other events have been announced for July at the time of writing.
