Controversial streamer Nicolas “Sneako” Kenn De Balinthazy has been banned on Twitch and fans wonder why he was banned and whether the ban is permanent.
Nicolas “Sneako” Kenn De Balinthazy is one of the most controversial streamers in the scene. He has been accused of everything from spreading misinformation to promoting conspiracy theories. Sneako’s questionable content caused his Twitch and YouTube channels to be banned in 2022. However, his Twitch channel was reinstated in June 2024, and his YouTube channel was unbanned on October 20. In a shocking move, YouTube banned Sneako’s channel again within 24 hours of being unbanned. However, that’s not all, in another surprising move Twitch has also banned the streamer’s channel.
This has shocked fans who wonder what the streamer is doing to cause these bans and whether Sneako’s Twitch ban is permanent.
Sneako was allegedly banned from Twitch because he praised deceased Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar during a stream.
Twitch banned Sneako’s channel just months after his two-year ban was lifted. This shocked and confused fans as they were unaware of what the streamer did to cause this. Many fans supported Sneako and questioned the ban on the social platform X. Some even questioned whether Twitch is going after the streamer because he joined the rival streaming platform Kick.
It seems the reason for Sneako’s punishment is a recent livestream he did where he praised Sinwar. His actions go against the terms of service of both Twitch and YouTube, hence why fans cited his praising of Sinwar as the reason he was banned from YouTube too.
However, some viewers claim that Sneako was banned because of xQc’s comment on the streamer’s off-stream behavior. xQc claims that the rant Sneako goes on would get any other streamer banned from the platform.
It should be noted that there’s no official statement from Sneako or Twitch on the matter.
Sneako has been indefinitely suspended from Twitch, so the ban might be permanent.
The streamer was unbanned from Twitch two years after his last ban and he has violated the platform’s terms of service in mere months. This repeated offense may cause Twitch to ban the streamer from the platform permanently.
Opening Sneako’s Twitch channel shows that the “channel is currently unavailable,” so Twitch may have only suspended the account. Only time will tell whether Sneako will stream on Twitch again. However, if the streamer continues to break the rules then it won’t be long before his channel is terminated from the platform for good.
