Popular streamer and gamer Rani ”FaZe StableRonaldo” Netz has been mysteriously banned on Twitch, fans wonder why and whether he’ll be back.
Rani “FaZe StableRonaldo” Netz is one of the most popular streamers on Twitch, with over 3.5 million followers. The American streamer is part of the FaZe clan and started his career by streaming Fortnite content. The 2020 health crisis increased Twitch’s audience and StableRonaldo also saw a steep rise in popularity. However, that’s not to say that the popular streamer hasn’t been part of controversies. In 2023, StableRonaldo had beef with fellow streamer Tyler “Ninja” Blevins, which didn’t end even after the latter allegedly apologized. Now, another surprise has shocked fans.
FaZe StableRonaldo has been banned on Twitch, and fans want to know why the streamer was banned and when he’ll return.
Twitch has allegedly banned FaZe StableRonaldo for streaming prohibited gambling footage.
The streaming platform Twitch never shares the reason for banning a channel. Opening a suspended channel usually states it was taken down for violating Twitch’s guidelines and terms of service. However, that reason doesn’t explain to the public what content violated the platform’s rules.
Twitch does provide the channel’s owner with the reason in an email announcing the suspension. However, StableRonaldo hasn’t announced the reason for his ban from Twitch to fans. The streamer might issue a statement later to explain to fans why his channel was taken down.
Fortunately, X users have investigated why FaZe StableRonaldo was allegedly banned from Twitch. The tweets on the social platform X allege that the streamer displayed someone gambling on the online casino website Stake.
Twitch’s stance on gambling is strict, and the platform prohibits “unsafe slots, roulette, and dice gambling sites.” The terms of service state “any streaming of listed sites that contain slots, roulette, and dice games and are unlicensed in the U.S. or other jurisdictions that offer consumer protections” are forbidden on streams.
FaZe StableRonaldo’s channel will be reinstated, as his official page states that the ban was not permanent.
It’s unknown when StableRonaldo’s channel will be unbanned on Twitch, but if the offense was committed accidentally, the punishment might be less severe. However, this isn’t the first time the streamer has been banned from the platform. His ban duration may be longer because of repeated offenses.
Twitch typically bans channels for three to seven days, but if the channel commits multiple violations, the ban duration increases. Furthermore, continued offenses can lead to more grave consequences like the channel being permanently banned.
