Twitch has banned the vtuber Pinkchyu, and fans wonder what the virtual YouTuber did and how long the ban will last.

The streamer and vtuber Pinkchyu started her career streaming Fortnite and is famous for her roleplaying content. Her streams with the popular game Grand Theft Auto V are especially memorable for fans. Pinkchyu has a loyal fan following on Twitch where she streams her content. The virtual YouTuber decided to venture back into the vtuber industry but was disappointed in her debut stream.

On November 8, 2024, Twitch banned Pinkchyu and fans wonder what the vtuber did and how long she’s banned for.

Why Twitch banned Pinkchyu

Pinkychu claims that she was banned on Twitch for her breast size, but Twitch has not confirmed the accusation.

Streaming platforms very rarely disclose information regarding bans and Twitch is no different. However, channel owners are usually informed about their violations when they are banned and they can share the reasons with fans.

Pinkchyu tweeted on the social platform X to explain that she was doing a vtuber chatting stream while her head was above the visible stream window. The vtuber elaborated that many other vtubers stream like this.

However, she stated that she has large breasts and she’s unsure whether that is the reason for the ban. Pinkchyu said she has been streaming for five years and this is her first ban when she returned to vtuber streams. The vtuber found support in fans, many of whom claimed that Twitch is biased against vtubers. However, some fans stated that they have seen other vtubers get banned for similar sexually suggestive content.

Twitch recently added new rules for vtubers with an emphasis on sexual farming not being allowed on the platform. Twitch likely banned the vtuber because she had her breasts displayed on stream for too long.

Is the ban permanent?

Pinkchyu’s ban is temporary and she will be back on Twitch.

The vtuber Pinkchyu tweeted an update to inform her fans that her Twitch ban is temporary. Pinkchyu stated that the ban will last for seven days. Since this was the vtuber’s first ban Twitch likely went easy on her.

Pinkchyu tweeted and announced to her fans that she will now debut on December 7, 2024. However, Pinkchyu must ensure her content isn’t too sexually suggestive so she complies with Twitch’s rules. Repeated offenses can lead to harsher punishments and even a permanent ban.
