Astralis is actively searching to transfer Lucas “Bubzkji” Andersen at the moment.
Jaxon has been in talks with multiple organizations that confirm that the Danish talent is on the transfer list – and that the player has been offered as a transfer.
The desire to transfer Bubzkji started in the beginning of October, around the time when the double Major winners had a stellar run at IEM Fall Europe. This suggests that Bubzkji’s time at Astralis is up, as appears to be suggested by his removal from the Major line-up.
It is unclear whether this affects dupreeh or Magisk’s position in Astralis.
Occasional stand-in
Bubzkji joined Astralis on July 1st 2020, but didn’t enjoy much playing time in the beginning. Until now,the 23-year-old has played just 86 maps in the Astralis jersey.
As a comparison, Peter “dupreeh” Rasmussen has played 228 maps in the same period. The 4 year extension of Xyp9x might be the last nail in the coffin for Bubzkji.
4 more years = Bubzkji out?
Bubzkji’s last hope seemed to be lost when Astralis extended the contract with Andreas “Xyp9x” Højsleth for four years on October 18th.
The contract extension resulted in Bubzkji being left out of roster for the ongoing PGL Major, a decision that left Bubzkji “devastated”.
According to Jaxon’s sources, Bubzkji does not have a “bench clause” in his contract, which means he will enjoy 100 % of his wage even though he would be placed on the bench officially.
