As esports competitions enters their halfway point for 2026, here are the top 10 most watched esports teams of 2025 compared to 2024. Without any surprise, the League of Legends team of T1 remains the flagship of esports across all games. Let’s dive into the most popular teams of 2025.
| 2025 rank | Team | Game | Hours watched in 2025 | Hours watched in 2024 | Change from 2024 to 2025 | 2024 rank |

| 3 | ONIC Esports | Mobile Legends: Bang Bang | 96.6M | N/A | N/A | >10 |
| 4 | RRQ Hoshi | Mobile Legends: Bang Bang | 95.2M | 112.2M | -15.1% | 2 |
| 5 | Team Vitality | Counter-Strike | 90.3M | N/A | N/A | >10 |
| 6 | Hanwha Life Esports | League of Legends | 87.5M | 68.4M | +27.9% | 5 |
| 7 | KT Rolster | League of Legends | 79.9M | N/A | N/A | >10 |

| 10 | Team Falcons | Counter-Strike | 68.7M | N/A | N/A | >10 |
Remaining consistent over both years, T1 is miles ahead of any other team with a 66% lead over the runner-up. In fact, the second-place Gen.G benefited from T1’s and Faker’s popularity.
Facing them 10 times in 2025 as opposed to six in 2024, they received more of their rival’s viewership. Combined with their dominant year, they rose from 108 to 118 million hours watched in 2025.
That being said, LoL went from six teams to four in the top four. While 2024 had more diversity, 2025 looks like “T1 and friends”. With Hanwha Life Esports and KT Rolster, these four are each of the LCK representatives at Worlds 2025.
Importantly, they’re also the teams that faced T1 the most. At the same time, the World Finals was all-Korean. In 2024, the Chinese fan favorite Bilibili Gaming fought T1 in the final for the most watched LoL series in history. Their severe underperformance at Worlds 2025 denied them another entry in the top 10.
Lastly, G2 Esports dropped out of the top 10 as the only Western representative. Is League of Legends dying in the West? Not necessarily – they also only played 73 games as opposed to 88 in 2024.

Behind them, Mobile Legends: Bang Bang claims the next two spots. While RRQ Hoshi is down 17 million hours watched from 2024, ONIC Esports now joins them in the top 4.
While the game had a similar viewership both years, RRQ’s performance fell down. The team particularly dropped at the end of the year. ONIC in fact passed them, winning the Autumn tournaments and claiming fourth place at the 2025 Mid Season Cup.
Team Liquid ID was the other MLBB representative in the top 10 in 2024. However, after coming second in the M6 World Championship, they failed to qualify for any S-Tier event in 2025.
In 2025, Team Vitality dominated the Counter-Strike scene and they’ve shown no signs of stopping since. With a record of mostly gold with some silver and bronze, they’ve put all eyes on them in 2025.

In general, 2025 was a great year for Counter-Strike, with four teams in the top 10, as opposed to only Natus Vincere and G2 Esports in 2024. Both of these teams failed to replicate the level of success that they found in the previous year.
Team Spirit, MOUZ, and Team Falcons took their spots to round out the top 10 most watched esports teams of 2025.
