Esports analyst Duncan “Thorin” Shields and NAVI AWPer Oleksandr “s1mple” Kostyliev have clashed on Twitter over a controversial tweet from Thorin. The Brit had called Gabriel “falleN” Toledo overrated following Imperial’s qualification to the Legends stage of the PGL Antwerp Major, something s1mple took offense to.
Thorin tweeted shortly after Imperial won their qualification match against Forze. He initially took aim at people trying to surf the wave of Brazilian hype, before emphasizing his point by calling falleN “the most over-rated player in the history of CS:GO”.
The tweet sparked instant controversy, with several community figures calling him out on his opinion.
One of the most remarkable was s1mple, who expressed his opinion of Thorin’s take with two simple words.
