Vertigo has always been one of the more challenging maps in Counter-Strike 2, but learning a smoke or two can help players breeze through this two-story labyrinth.
In the recent update, Valve opened Vertigo’s A short in a way that it now connects with the CT base via elevator. This should make it easy for CTs to defend the pesky side that opens into the site, but it remains a preferred route for Ts breaking into A. However, this new Vertigo smoke can block out incoming enemies with ease. This wild lineup was discovered by a player named Alec053, who got tricked by a player on the enemy team.
It’s insanely genius and quite possibly one of the best lineups in CS2 across all maps. Here’s how to do it.
Players can either toss a molotov towards A short at the beginning of the round or try this genius Vertigo smoke lineup. Here’s how to do it.
At a higher level of play, you may be able to reuse this overpowered smoke once or twice before the enemy figures it out and pre-fires your seat. But, gap or not, you can use it as a regular smoke to block out this area and keep enemies at bay. This versatility makes it one of the most powerful smokes in CS2.
