Chapter 2 Season 1, itself, was actually one of the most boring seasons we’ve seen in Fortnite. Season 1 and 2 were agonizingly long and featured hardly any updates.
We got a new swimming mechanic, fishing, a new map, and that’s about it. Most of the more interesting Chapter 2 mechanics came later on.
Competitive players generally liked the new season – partly because of the lack of changes and the basic meta. For most people, it lasted WAY too long.
Regardless of whether or not you like the new map and the first season of Chapter 2, it turns two years old today.
While celebrating the start of Chapter 2, see why fans are wary of the Fortnite OG Chapter 2 comeback, with some doubting if it will capture the same magic.
