RMRs for Counter-Strike 2’s Perfect World Shanghai Major have concluded, leaving 24 teams to battle it out for the trophy. That also means it’s time to snag player stickers that may eventually turn into valuable collectibles.
For each major, Valve rolls out team and player stickers that players can apply to their weapons to flex their fandom. Since most majors feature similar signatures, resulting in dull designs, Valve introduced a twist by having pro players hand-draw their autographs this year. Shanghai Major stickers are all less stylized and have a personal flair, making them all stand out from previous majors.
Not all of them are equally eye-catching. Some pro players stood out with their creativity, earning a spot on the list of best Shanghai Major player stickers.
Because Valve gave players a bit more freedom in their design, pro players added some extra personal flair to their stickers. Not everyone took advantage of this opportunity, but some stand out. Here are some of the best Shanghai Major player stickers based on design and creativity.
Peng “ChildKing” Junhao is playing under Rare Atom and is qualified to major as Challengers. The sticker stands out for the massive crown and tiny heart emblem that add a nice little touch to the simple signature.
Erik “ztr” Gustafsson is not a new name in CS2 by any means, but no one knew the full form of his gaming alias until now. Zero T Rounds doubles as a sticker and a petty spray for weapons to intimidate opponents before the round switches to the CT side.
Four players on the Furia roster decided to go with elaborate Chinese stickers that have already become player favorites. FalleN’s sticker, however, stands out for both Chinese and English spelling, earning it the fifth spot on our best Shanghai Major player stickers list.
Players who like to mix their Greek Mythology with CS2 would love S-Chilla’s signature. The pro player’s signature is a blend of his name with the motif of Sisyphus rolling a boulder up a hill.
Each year, Brazilian pro player Vinicius “VINI” Figueiredo manages to turn his signature into a creative dolphin, little boy, or some random art piece. This year, he has continued his streak of creativity with a meme-like signature that is undoubtedly among the best signatures at Shanghai Major.
Christopher “dexter” Nong, lovingly known as dex in the CS2 community, has taken things up a notch this year. He’s made noticeable changes, starting by removing the A at the end of his signature, which he used to style as a star. The first letter, which was previously a stylized D meant to look like an S, is now a straightforward, clean S. While not everyone may agree this is one of the best signatures this year, it’s certainly the one getting the most spotlight. It might also have the long-term value seen by stickers of Oliver “DickStacy” Tierney.
Justinas “jL” Lekavičius signature is on the same beat as Vini’s. It’s a tiny ghost that spells out JL. It’s cute and simple and would go well on dark and simple skins in either Gold or Holo variant.
