A newly released Fortnite player survey lists possible future collaborations, including The Simpsons and Shrek.
Fortnite set the bar for major collaborations with big-name IPs. From popular anime like Naruto to childhood classics like the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, no collaboration will surprise fans at this point. While most collabs are kept a secret, Epic Games usually releases player surveys and some IPs included make it to the game.
Epic Games has set up huge expectations from fans with this new Marvel-inspired season of their popular battle royale. The skins and weapons fans have seen this season have them excited for the new things in store.
According to the newest player survey, Epic is now gauging Fortnite players’ interest in a potential Shrek crossover.
The Fortnite survey lists many popular IPs, movies, and celebrities that might be added, including The Simpsons and Shrek.
Reliable data miner SamLeakss shared the survey on X and has various IPs listed that Epic Games may add to Fortnite. While these surveys have entries that may make it into the game, it is important to note that they are not official news. However, player surveys still give fans a good idea of future collaborations they might see in the game.
For example, the survey lists The Simpsons, which a data miner previously leaked to be under development. This doesn’t confirm the collab, but does increase the possibility of fans seeing Bart or Homer Simpson in the game. Epic might add a whole Simpsons bundle that also includes Krusty the Clown. Fortnite did the same with The Giant Chicken players saw in The Family Guy Crossover.
Another collaboration mentioned on the list and an IP that fans have been waiting to see on Fortnite is Shrek. There have been no leaks for any of the characters from Shrek making it to the game. Fiona showing up on the list opens up a possibility that fans might get a Shrek crossover soon. It would certainly be interesting to see Eddie Murphy’s Donkey compete in the battle royale.
