Danil “donk” Kryshkovets is on top of the world in Counter-Strike 2 esports, but his nutty aim has won him no favors on Twitch.
With no warning whatsoever, one of the best CS2 players in the world has been unceremoniously banned from the website. After briefly returning to stream on May 7, Team Spirit rifler donk’s channel has suddenly disappeared from Twitch. To fans’ dismay, all the clips of his crazy FPL sprays are gone with it.
The news broke on May 11 when donk’s channel suddenly turned into an error message. The mystery was quickly solved as the victim himself came forward with an explanation.
donk’s Twitch account is banned because he made it when he was under 13.
Twitch’s rules state that users must be 13 or older to use the site. Anyone younger is not allowed to use the site, and anyone proven to be under 13 is usually banned. This is because Twitch steams often contain mature content like M-rated video games or explicit language from streamers.
donk is currently 17 years old, which makes him one of the youngest stars in pro gaming. However, his Twitch account appears to be much older. The spray control savant confessed to making his account when he was 12 or younger, which violates terms of service.
It appears that someone at Twitch looked at donk’s account and did the math to determine that it was made before he turned 13. His birthday, January 25, 2007, is publicly known. This means that the account was made sometime before January 25, 2020.
donk has not stated if he intends to make a new Twitch account. He could switch to a different streaming platform like Kick or could even stop streaming altogether. The rising star streamed regularly in late 2023, averaging 2,030 viewers across 146 hours. Now that Spirit is in contention for the game’s top titles, donk could focus more on private practice.
