The wild reason why Deshae Frost was banned from Twitch

Deshae Frost Twitch ban

Twitch has banned streamer Deshae Frost and surprised viewers wonder what he did for the platform to take such serious action against him.

Deshae Frost is an American content creator who started his career by making comedic videos on Instagram before transitioning to YouTube where he made comedy vlogs, and he currently boasts over 3.75 million subscribers. The streamer gained significant popularity because of his sense of humor and has also appeared in TV shows including the CBS series SWAT.

In his attempt to make his content funny, Deshae Frost sometimes goes overboard. This has led to him getting in trouble with streaming platforms. He was banned from Twitch in April 2024, ironically on April Fool’s Day. Now, Deshae Frost is in the limelight again because Twitch has banned him for the second time.

Why was Deshae Frost banned from Twitch?

Deshae Frost was allegedly banned from Twitch for streaming sexually suggestive content on his channel.

Twitch is infamous for not sharing details about the actions it takes against streamers and channels. Deshae Frost hasn’t issued an official statement about his ban either, but viewers have pieced together certain questionable things the streamers did that might have led to his ban.

Deshae Frost Twitch ban

In a stream, Deshae Frost was allegedly sexually harassing someone in a Target store. The streamer approached a woman and told her that she looked good and that he’d have sexual intercourse with her right then. The woman’s brother called him out for his insensitive remarks and the streamer stated that he has a sister himself and didn’t mean any disrespect.

The victim’s brother replied that Deshae Frost’s remarks were disrespectful and the streamer apologized, claiming it was a prank. Viewers weren’t impressed, and Deshae Frost received severe backlash over his actions across social media. The clip went viral with many demanding Twitch take action against the streamer. No action was taken initially following after this stream, which is why some viewers think something else may have led to Deshae Frost’s Twitch ban.

In another clip shared on X, Deshae Frost was streaming with his girlfriend Erica “Ekane” Kane when the stream took an unexpected turn. The streamer used a remote-controlled vibrator on Ekane. Fans were divided on Deshae Frost’s actions. Some thought it was edgy of the streamer, while others claimed that such things shouldn’t be displayed on stream.

Regardless of which stream caused Deshae Frost to be banned from Twitch, both instances clearly go against the platform’s guidelines. Either sexually harassing someone on stream or performing sexual acts could have led to the streamer’s suspension.

It’s unclear how long Deshae Frost is banned from Twitch and whether the ban is permanent, but the platform may go easy on the streamer because this is only his second offense.

Twitch takes actions based on several variables. Things like the seriousness of the offense and the number of repeated offenses are all considered. Deshae Frost has only been banned from Twitch once, so he may receive a lighter punishment.

His actions may still see him banned for up to a week. If Twitch doesn’t think he deserves a longer ban, the streamer might be back before February ends.
