The Nijisanji Aster Arcadia allegations, explained

Multiple vtubers have levied allegations against Nijisanji’s Aster Arcadia.

Nijisanji started 2024 with the controversial termination of Selen Tatsuki. The incident tainted Nijisanji in the eyes of many fans. Most would instead follow Selen to her independent persona, Dokibird.  Once again, the company faced controversy after recent allegations made against Nijisanji talent Aster Arcadia.

Aster Arcadia is a male vtuber affiliated with Nijisanji EN’s sixth wave Iluna. He debuted alongside Kyo Kaneko, Maria Marionette, and Scarle Yonaguni. The vtuber established himself as a mainstay of the Nijisanji fandom, with over 324,000 subscribers as of this writing. The vtuber has garnered controversy after allegations of harassment came to light.

Multiple vtubers claim that Aster Arcadia harassed them

Alleged victims accuse Aster Arcadia of sexual harassment. The allegations against Aster date back to February 2024, when supposed Discord messages between Aster Arcadia and Scarle Yonaguni made the rounds on social media.

Neither party has confirmed these screenshots, leaving their authenticity uncertain. Some users claim these screenshots were faked by 4chan, further casting doubt among fans. The controversy reignited when Raziel Warmonic, a former moderator for Nijisanji vtuber Luca Kaneshiro, shared an extensive Google document. Raziel claimed that multiple women within Nijisanji have complained to management about Luca and Aster. She claimed that Nijisanji management did not do anything.

Nijisanji’s parent company Anycolor reportedly sent Raziel a cease and desist order after the allegations went public.

In December 2024, an anonymous vtuber allegedly shared their accounts of Aster Arcadia’s harassment. FalseEyeD claims to have interviewed one of Aster’s victims. The alleged victim claimed that Aster flew them out to Japan to “spend the whole day in the room with him.”

Soon after, the anonymous vtuber met with management to stop Aster’s harassment. They alleged that even after reporting the harassment to Nijisanji management, no action was taken.  The talent considered graduation from the agency due to the repeated incidents.

Many viewers have begun discussing the allegation on Reddit and noted some surprising developments. Aster has turned on sub-only mode for his upcoming streams, ensuring non-subscribers could not comment. Critics speculated this was due to the recent allegations. The Nijisanji vtuber also postponed an upcoming cooking stream. Aster claimed he was delaying the stream because the setup was complicated.

No current Nijisanji staff or talent have corroborated these claims as of this writing.
